The 2025 Valor Memorial Designs

The 2025 Valor Memorial Designs

Creating the 2025 Valor Memorial Designs was one of the most challenging projects we've ever undertaken at Vint Hill Designs. It wasn't due to the complexity of the design or the production process, but rather because of what it represents. How can we truly honor those who have given everything? How can we encapsulate the magnitude of their sacrifice into words or a design?

The truth is that we can't.

We hesitated many times before taking on this project—not because we lacked the ability, but because we understood from the start that no design could ever truly honor these heroes as they deserve. We approached this task with humility, devotion, and gratitude, knowing that no tribute could ever be sufficient. Nonetheless, we felt compelled to try—not for ourselves, but for them.

Why We Did It

We committed to this project out of profound respect for the men, women, and K9s who have laid down their lives in service to their country and communities. We hope that those who wear these designs understand the sincerity behind them—that they were created not as mere products, but as symbols of remembrance and avenues for carrying their legacy forward.

Two Designs, One Mission of Honor

This year, we created two distinct designs: one for my Border Patrol family and another for law enforcement officers nationwide.

2025 Border Patrol Valor Memorial Design

The Border Patrol Valor Memorial Shirt honors every Border Patrol agent who has fallen in the line of duty. This year, three new names have been added to this honored list:

- Christopher Luna (End of Watch: March 8, 2024)
- Jesus Anaya (End of Watch: May 23, 2024)
- Jose Martin Rodriguez-Lua (End of Watch: April 24, 2024)

The front of the design features a thin green line mourning the Border Patrol agent badge, accompanied by the inscription, "Honor the Fallen - Police Week 2025 - Washington, DC." The back showcases a thin green line American flag map of the United States, listing the names of all fallen Border Patrol agents and K9s who lost their lives in the line of duty. At the bottom left, 2 Timothy 4:7 is included as a final tribute:

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."

2025 Law Enforcement Valor Memorial Design

The Law Enforcement Valor Memorial Shirt follows the same principle of remembrance but is intended for all fallen law enforcement officers. The front features a mourning police badge with the inscription, "Honor the Fallen - Police Week 2025 - Washington, DC." The back mirrors the Border Patrol design but includes a thin blue line American flag in the shape of the United States, listing the names of every officer and K9 who lost their lives in 2024.

This design serves as a reminder that every name represents a life, a story, and a family left behind. It symbolizes a sacrifice that we cannot repay, but we can at least acknowledge and honor.

Final Thoughts

We do not take this responsibility lightly. We hope that those who wear these shirts do so with the same respect and sincerity with which they were created. This goes beyond mere fabric and ink—it’s a way to carry on the memory of those who can no longer stand beside us.

We humbly ask that our customers receive these designs with the understanding that they come from a place of genuine gratitude. We know we can’t do justice to their legacies, but we hope that in some small way, this serves as a reminder of their sacrifice—one that should never be forgotten.

For those who wear the uniform, and for those who have lost a partner, friend, or loved one—this is for you.

May we never forget.
