At Vint Hill Designs, we believe in honoring the service and sacrifice of the brave men and women of the U.S. Border Patrol. For the second consecutive year, we are proud to unveil the U.S. Border Patrol 2024 Valor Memorial design, a tribute to our fallen heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
This year's design holds special significance as we remember two new fallen heroes: Border Patrol Agent Freddy Ortiz (End of Watch: November 14, 2023), and Border Patrol Inspector Orin F. Hush (End of Watch: January 31, 1927). Their names are added to the memorial, ensuring that their legacy lives on and their sacrifice is never forgotten.
The design features the iconic American flag with a "thin green line," symbolizing our solidarity and respect for those who have given their lives to protect our borders. What makes this design truly unique is that the flag itself is composed of the names of our fallen heroes, serving as a poignant reminder of their bravery and dedication.
We have been humbled by the overwhelming response from our customers, who have expressed a desire to wear this memorial design during Police Week in May to honor our fallen heroes. It is a privilege for us to see our design represent the U.S. Border Patrol during this important time of remembrance.
As a team, we understand that we will never be able to fully do justice to the honor our fallen heroes deserve and the price they paid. However, it is our hope that this memorial design serves as a small token of our immense gratitude and respect for the men and women who risk their lives every day to keep our borders safe.
